in my letterbox

letters

dear new england,
what is your aversion to properly posted street signs? is there something morally wrong with marking the cross street in such a way that is visible to drivers? also, why do most drivers in this part of the country seem to be sadists?

dear mcdonald's,
thank you for always being there when i need you. i know you're someone my mom warned me about and we shouldn't be seen together too often, but sometimes, well, your warm salty goodness fills this void in my heart when everything else in my day is going wrong. but let's keep this on the dl, k? mmmk, thanks.

dear husband,
thank you for surprising me with roses because i got lost in boston twice today even though you are the one you had to work several hours late at the office and should be the one getting props for providing a roof over our heads while i figure out what the heck it is i want to do when i grow up. you're my favorite.

dear tomorrow,
i have high hopes that we are going to get along splendidly and i am hoping you have some good news to bring my way. i'll be waiting patiently and can't wait to meet you.

always, kat

You. Are. Adorable.

I totally know how you feel about Boston! They are horrible at having good street signs and the roads don't make any sense. I think the only place they have a few straight roads is in the back bay for about 4 blocks. Don't give up....you'll get it right one of these days!

Dear kat,
I love that you called it a letterbox instead of a mailbox. It's things like that that make me glad we're friends :)

thanks for the encouragement bethany, i need it :) i am so used to being able to find my way around since nyc and dc are, for the most part, on a grid system. boston just has to go and be so dang quaint though, haha!

meeling...hehe, so glad i am not alone in that ;)
