yum. seriously yum.

for our michigan reception party, my friend emily (we went to art school together back in the day) made the most beautiful little wedding cake i have ever laid eyes on. a while back she took some cake decorating classes at Michaels and has been churning out masterpieces ever since. i can't believe how talented she is!


i had a photo of a cake with a lace design on it as well as the colors that i wanted. being so similar in taste, she was able to just take it and run with it to create the most perfect cake with some great design innovations of her own.


and i've got to say, it tasted sooooooooooo good. mouth watering good. the top part is tucked away in my parent's freezer and i kinda can't wait to have it again on our first anniversary!
