a bit of retail therapy (finally!)
the last time i bought an article of clothing for myself was with christmas gift certificates...i've been SO good and it's been SO hard! when i saw this dress over on modcloth though i couldn't hold back any longer, especially since it was actually available in a hard to find "i'm not a stick figure" size. i'm big on online shopping since i get irritated rather quickly dealing with crowds and such so i was all the more happy to find that when it arrived in the mail, it not only fit like a glove but is really comfortable too! i never thought i'd find such a cute vintage looking dress that felt like i was wearing pj's! i think it will be great for a date night, work, a day strolling through museums, and interviews too if paired with a cardigan and some simple grey ballet flats.
i just need to admit to one more purchase...seriously, a girl can only be tempted for so long! also on modcloth were these adorable lacy gloves that i'm going to wear with my wedding dress. i just couldn't find a vintage pair that fit my jolly green giant hands! i may have also pranced around the house in them asking john if he wanted tea and cake in a silly and very horrible british accent. maybe, i'm not going to confirm that!

:) I LOVE that dress!! You need to treat yourself every once in a while!
That's a great dress! I love happy purchases like that. :D Beautiful gloves. I very very rarely buy dresses, but I just bought one last saturday! It was 14.99, ruffles near the necklace, and purple. Now I have to figure out where to wear it to! :P
I can JUST picture you doing that to John! <3!
That's a gorgeous dress! I think it's gonna look awesome on you!
i think it's the prettiest dress i've seen in a while :) just can't believe it's in my closet now!
