(click to enlarge for detail) i've been busying myself photographing and sorting through some vintage patterns that will be posted to the shop as soon as i can check that each has all it's pieces. i always have to be careful though as so many seamstresses from the past seem to be in the habit of leaving pins in them...better me than my customers though! some of the envelopes are a bit careworn but i can only imagine all the beautiful garments that have and will come of these ladylike designs.
i also have a few men's patterns and i always find the images on them to be pretty amusing. how dapper are the pajama clad gentlemen with their pipes and slippers?! and what man poses like that in his swim trunks, i'd like to know? haha!

Vintage pattern are great!! I always enjoy looking at the illustrations on them!
Dapper is the best word possible to describe those men.
i love the illustrations of vintage patterns! i wish i knew how to sew.. then i would probably love what is inside each of the packets even more!
