all is merry and bright

boston's theatre district

tonight we got to go to see the boston ballet's nutcracker and it was such a beautiful evening. thanks to the fact that my husband designs all the playbills for boston's theatre district, we were able to get two  super cheap tickets for great seats and had such a great time going to the show and out to dinner! i haven't seen the nutcracker since i was a little girl so it was pretty neat to see such a big production of it in such a gorgeous theatre. it also managed to ignite a bit of that christmas magic that can be hard to keep sight when the commercial side of christmas gets to be too much.

i'm going to take a little blog break for a few days over christmas but i will see you back here soon (i've finally been able to start working on that whoville quilt and will have photos to share)! until then, i wish each of you a very merry christmas filled with a bit of that magic feeling of peace and joy!
