i decided it was time to bite the bullet and get my embroidery floss organized, especially now that fall is upon us and so too the busy holiday craft show season when i'll be scrambling to find things quicker (well, i hope sales keep my that busy anyway!). the above is just a small portion of my floss because one pack of the plastic bobbins was not nearly enough. it's actually quite soothing wrapping all the floss onto them and lining up the colors in my old cigar box. can you tell i'm an organizing nut?!

I want to organize my fabric but I ran out of shelf space!
organization is good for the soul. I like the finished product but not the process!
I love to organize things by color. My only problem is it takes me all day to clean things and only about 30 minutes to mess them all up again.
It makes a lovely photo too!
Oh my goodness -- you should see mine, it's a complete mess!
haha, well i have to admit before this all my floss was waded up in a plastic bag ;)
