finished!

the front

it's only been a few days but it feels like ages since i've updated! in the meantime, i did manage to finish the embroidered clothespin bag to go with our camping gear and really enjoyed working on it...the transfers worked great!


i changed my mind about how it should hang and added on two loops of cotton belting at the top so it just strings onto the camp rope clothesline. they were much easier to attach and should be practical to use too.

i also learned a new stitch, the "stem" stitch, which worked out nicely with the flames of the campfire:


and on the awning of the trailer!


then i topped it all off with a neato wooden button which seems to suit the bag just right:
